Full Figure Daguerrotype Stylish Man In Stove Pipe HatA neat antique daguerrotype featuring a full lenght portrait of a well dressed man. The man is obviuosly wealthy and is sporting a stove pipe hat. The portrait is unusual in that it is a full length view, it is also interesting to note that you can see the bsae of the stand of the head rest behind his feet. A person posing had to hold still for several minutes while a portrait was taken hence the need for a head rest/stabilizer. The iamge is in fair condition as you can see from the photo's. tI has a thumbprint and silvering all around the perimeter. It is in half of a case, i don't have the other half.
Overall dimensions are 3 5/8 x 3 1/4. The image would make a nice addition to an anitque photo collection. It is being offered without a reserve.
