Antique Daguerreotype Tintype Union CaseAntique daguerreotype tintype union case the 8 sided case measures roughly 2 1/2 x 3 x 3/4 thick. The exterior ahs a delicate and detailed floral pattern. The interior has the typical padded velvet side and the photo side with original paper liner from the photographic supplier, holmes, booth & hayden's. In some lights it appears to be black while at other times it seems to be very dark green. Ovearll condition is good. There is a very small chip on side edge near where it opens. The oen hinge has had its pin replaced but is fully functional. The interior is quite nice with the velvet being soft and the embossed pattren clearly visible. The paper label does have a tear but everything si clearly readable. Just a great piece of photographic history nad a place to keep your tintype and disply it. Thanks for looking!
