Circa 1825-1850 this auction is for a double daguerreotype locket that is housed ni an engraved gold filled (14k) pocketwatch case. The dags each measure just under 1-1/2 in diameter and are a husband and wife? The overall condition is excellent ++ ofr the women's portrait and excellent for the man's photo ( see images attached ) the woman's image is pretty clear with some spots around the edge.
You can see some color tinting in both images. Hunting csae is approx 1 -3/4 in diameter and ~ 2 oz.
Weight. A must have for any daguerrotyep collector. In great! Condition.
